All persons wishing to be enrolled in Religious Formation classes at St. Patrick’s will be joyfully welcomed into our program and our community.  We hope that all participants will choose to become full and active members of the parish.  If you have not yet registered in the parish, please call the parish office at 289-4289.

Because class time is limited and in order to maintain an optimum teacher/student interaction during this short time span, class sizes are limited to 12.  However, classes may be increased or decreased after visiting with the lead catechist regarding the dynamics of the group.  When classes are filled, the acceptance of new students will be based on the availability of classroom space and catechists.  Children of parents who volunteer to teach in the program will have priority placement over children of parents who do not volunteer to teach in the program.

In the event that all classrooms are filled, home schooling may be offered to families of children in Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 4th or 5th grades.  For such families, the parent is required to meet with the Director of Religious Formation to go over the curriculum.  As new reference and resource materials are received, they will be provided to the families of children who are involved in home schooling.  Children who are home schooled are expected to attend all RF Masses and events so that they develop a sense of community within their parish.  Home schooling will not be offered to families with children in 2nd, 6th, 7th or Confirmation grades.  Only in special circumstances, i.e., children with learning disabilities, will home schooling in sacrament years be permitted.
